Pippa Middleton criticized for going on deer and boar hunt
The Duchess of Cambridge's sister reportedly went to Gerpinnes, Belgium, in woods owned by the country's richest man, Albert Frere
London: Pippa Middleton has been criticised by an animal rights group as "desperate to be royal by association" after she went on a hunt where six boars and nine deer were killed.

The Duchess of Cambridge's sister reportedly went to Gerpinnes, Belgium, in woods owned by the country's richest man, Albert Frere, The Sun said.

Pippa, 29, joined a 20-strong party on the trip.

Animal rights charity Viva has criticised Pippa for going on the hunt.

"It's a shame she's so desperate to be royal by association that she is now seemingly aping their hunting bloodlust. There is nothing classy about shooting terrified wild animals for sport," spokesman Justin Kerswell told the daily.

The League Against Cruel Sports added: "It's sad to see someone in such an influential position indulging in this cruelty."

The royal family did not comment.
