Bollywood actor Aamir Khan just got a blockbuster start to 2015 with his film PK breaking all previous records to become Bollywood's highest grossing film of all time in the domestic market, a position previously held by the actor's Dhoom:3.
According to a report in Box Office India, the film achieved the record in the domestic market by minting Rs 263 crore in just 13 days, displacing Dhoom:3 in the box office charts.

The 276 crore of #PK is like a slap on faces of frustrated lot.Just like tax-free to PK in U.P. is on face of religious gurus who cried foul

Apart from PK, the top all time grossers include, Dhoom: 3 (261 cr), Kick (212 cr), Chennai Express (208 cr) and 3 Idiots (201 cr)
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, PK which also stars Sushant Singh Rajput and Anushka Sharma, has been panned by fringe groups all over the country for its alleged objectionable content. In the past one week, activists have burnt posters of the film and demanded a ban on it, accusing Aamir and the film's director, Rajkumar Hirani, of ridiculing Hindu gods and goddesses. However, that doesn't have seemed to deterred the audience from watching the movie, as these current figures clearly show.
Meanwhile, Aamir, clearly retains his position as one of the most valuable players in the industry.
