Terming it as "bizarre", Amitabh Bachchan feels cricketers who played against eachother in the World Cup will now be playing for each other inthe soon to begin IPL tournament.
"In another couple of days all those who participatedfor their country shall now be pushing their energies andallegiance to their respective teams in the IPL. Those whoplayed against each other shall now be playing for each otherin the same team. This is such a bizarre situation," Big Bwrote in his blog.
"Soon sentiments shall shift from national to personalteams representing different regions of the country. Rivalsfor the past month, team mates for the next," the blog read.
Not stopping at cricketers, senior Bachchan also showedconcerns for all the cricket fans who will have to quicklychange their minds and pick a team to support in theIPL - 4 tournament, set to begin from April 8.
The actor further went on to say a prominent authorand thinker admitted that sports and film were the two mostfertile ingredients in bringing a nation together. "Nothingcould be truer. They always were and shall always be, aunifier!" Bachchan said.
