Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 1, expressed grief over the 'unfortunate demise' of legendary singer Asha Bhosle's son, Hemant.
Hemant Bhosle died in Scotland on September 28. The 66-year old music composer had reportedly been battling cancer for several years.(Also Read: Asha Bhosle's Son Hemant Dies at 66)

Hemant Bhosle, who was the eldest of Ashaji's three children with her first husband Ganpatrao Bhosle, worked as a pilot for some years and then had a brief musical career composing for little-known films like Barrister and Taxi Taxie, a 1977 film in which he used both his mother and aunt Lata Mangeshkar's voices on the soundtrack. He passed away on the 86th birthday of Lataji.
