Actress Kirron Kher, who joinedBJP last year, says she came into politics for emotionalreasons.
"I am basically a social activist. I want goodgovernance from which all should benefit. It is an emotionalreason that brought me to politics," Kher said here.Also describing herself as an entertainer, the actresssaid she would continue to do both, politics and acting, sideby side.
The wife of acclaimed actor Anupam Kher, she won theNational Film Award for Best Actress for Rituparno Ghosh'sBengali film Bariwali in 2000.

However, Kher is in no mood to contest elections."I will not contest elections. I am not interested,"Kher said.
