Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is busy promoting her forthcoming movie Ponniyin Selvan: I, has treated her Insta family to some stunning pictures. On Sunday, the actress shared a photo on her Instagram along with a thank you note to fans. In the image, Aishwarya looks beautiful in a white traditional ensemble as she smiles for the camera. The picture is her look from the recent Ponniyin Selvan press conference held in Mumbai. Sharing the post, she wrote, "Thank you all for your love, warmest wishes and blessings... Lots of love always" Soon after she shared the post, fans flooded the comment section. A fan wrote, "You are always 1st beautiful lady in the world," another wrote, "Wow super," while others dropped heart and fire emoticons. After four years, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen on a big screen with Mani Ratnam's magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan: I. The movie also stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Trisha and Karthi in the lead.
On Saturday, during a press conference of Ponniyin Selvan, the actress revealed her daughter Aaradhya's experience when she visited the set of the movie. She also spoke about her daughter's cherished memory when Mani Ratnam gave Aaradhya the opportunity to say "action". Aishwarya said, "She (Aaradhya) respects him (Mani Ratnam), and she is in awe of him. And his affection is so sweet. I think what excited her most was when one day she came on set and he gave her the opportunity to say 'action'.She couldn't get over that. She was like, 'Sir gave me the opportunity to say that.' So that's probably the most cherished memory. This is really precious, and she values it already. I think, in growing up years, it would be a much-cherished memory."
Ponniyin Selvan is slated to hit the theatres on September 30. The movie will clash with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha.
