Pooja Bhatt keen to remake her father's Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain
Mumbai: Actress-turned-director Pooja Bhattis keen to remake her father Mahesh Bhatt's 1974 controversialfilm Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain.

"I would love to revisit my father's film Manzilein AurBhi Hain which was banned by the Censor board. This film wasa bit too ahead of its time. This is the kind of film that Iwould like to look at and may re-visit," Pooja told PTI.

Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain, a drama directed by MaheshBhatt, featured Gulshan Arora, Kabir Bedi, Mukesh Bhatt andPrema Narayan.

The movie, about two men and a prostitute, was banned forits "objectionable content."

Meanwhile, 40-year-old Pooja is looking forward to therelease of her upcoming film Jism 2, starring Indo-Canadianporn star Sunny Leone, Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda.

"The response to Jism was overwhelming and we werequite certain that there is a market for that. I remember whenI was working on the sequel lot of people in the industry toldme, 'What kind of a film is it, in the poster you have notshown the face of the girl, who is going to watch the movie?

"But I am happy with the response the trailer and thesongs have got... People have loved it," she said.

Jism 2 is a sequel to the 2003 Bipasha Basu-JohnAbraham starrer of the same name and it is already makingheadlines for its erotic content.

"In Bollywood mostly films are made for male audience, keeping a male viewer in mind and that is why the item song,an item girl. I think that equation should change. Sensualityshould not be a male domain, it is high time a woman claimsit," Pooja said.

"This film is fiercely a female gaze. Though there issensuality in Jism 2, we push the envelope, there is farmore than that," she added.

However, the director said that enacting the emotionalpart was a challenge for Sunny.

"She is comfortable with her body as this is what shedoes for her living. There were certain things that she didwell and with few others she had difficulty. She hadlimitations as she is not a trained actor. But she did a goodjob," she said.
