Yesteryear actress Poonam Dhillonwants to don the director's hat for a romantic film, which shemight even co-produce.
Poonam Dhillon is best known for films like Noorie, Dard,Nishaan, Sohni Mahiwal, Samundar, Naam and others."I always wanted to direct a film. It (direction) isvery much in the pipeline. But due to other commitments I wasnot able to do it. Now seems to be the right time. As far asacting is concerned I have done just one or two films a year,"Poonam Dhillon told PTI.
She has not penned the script but the story idea camefrom her."It is my story idea. We are giving finishing touches.We will take few months. Hopefully we will start working on itnext year. It is a romantic film filled with emotions andcomedy. I want to start with something that is light."She also has few actors in mind but is not ready todivulge any names.
"I do have few actors in mind for my film but it istoo early to talk about it," she said.The veteran actress has plans to co-produce the film."We will have a production company but we are alsolooking up for tie ups. I don't think I will be able to do italone. I don't think I have that much expertise," she said.
