London:
Harry Potter star DanielRadcliffe has credited the gruelling action scenes in themovie franchise to help him deal with dyspraxia, an impairmentthat results in movement and co-ordination problem.
The British star who grew up playing the bespectacledboy wizard since the age of 10 claimed that the intensetraining he took for the challenging scenes helped him copewith the disability, Contactmusic reported.
"If anything, the stunts and stuff has actually helpeda lot because it deals with co-ordination and that's the mainthing that I'd say about dyspraxia is that it's to do withco-ordination...
"Some people have it very badly and find it hard to,you know, catch a ball. I've never had it quite that bad, although you should see me throw, but it's also a processingthing, so I take in information slightly slower than everyoneelse does," said the 22-year-old actor.
"Through doing training and through doing bits ofgymnastics when I was younger on Potter, that has absolutelystood me in very good stead and has made all the dyspraxiastuff kind of decrease a lot," he added.
