The trailer of Anushka Shetty's upcoming film Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty released on Monday and it started trending a great deal. The film's trailer also got a shout out from her Baahubali co-star Prabhas. Sharing the film's trailer on his Instagram story, superstar Prabhas wrote in his caption, "Couldn't stop laughing while watching the Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty trailer. Sweety and Naveen are fantastic. Best wishes to the team for their September 7th release." Prabhas and Anushka Shetty have also co-starred in 2009's Billa and 2013 film Mirchi. The actors were rumoured to be dating after the release of Baahubali. However, the two denied the rumours multiple times and they have always maintained that they are friends.

Sharing the trailer on social media, Anushka Shetty wrote, "The trailer of Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty is all set to work up your appetite for comedy and entertainment. Grand release on September 7th #MSMPonSep7th."

Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, starring Anushka Shetty, alongside Naveen Polishetty, has been directed by Mahesh Babu P and it is slated to release on September 7.

In terms of work, Prabhas was last seen in Om Raut's controversial mythology film Adipurush, which was based on Ramayana. He co-starred in the film with Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan and Sunny Singh. He will next be seen in KGF director Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire, alongside Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is slated to release on September 28. The film's teaser released a few months ago and it trended a great deal on social media for days.

The actor will next be seen in Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 - AD, which was formerly called Project K. The film marks Deepika Padukone and Prabhas' first collaborative project. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film's teaser released at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) last month. The film is being directed by Nag Ashwin and it is being backed by Aswini Dutt, producer and founder of Vyjayanthi Movies. Kalki 2898 - AD will release in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
