Prabhu Deva On Becoming A Father At 50: "Feel Very Happy And Complete"

Veteran choreographer and filmmaker Prabhu Deva, 50, just welcomed a baby girl with his wife Himani. In an interview with ETimes, Prabhu Deva confirmed the news and he said, "Yes Sir. It is true. I am a father again at this age." He added, "I feel very, very happy and complete." The choreographer added that he wishes to spend more time with the family and has cut down his work load. "I have already cut down on my workload. I felt I was doing too much work, just running around... am done with that. I want to spend some time with my family," ETimes quoted Prabhu Deva as saying.

Prabhu Deva married Himani in 2020. He had three sons from his previous marriage with ex-wife Ramlath. They got divorced in 2011. Prabhu Deva also dated actress Nayanthara for a while. Nayanthara is now married to filmmaker Vignesh Shivan.

Besides being a choreographer and a director, Prabhu Deva has also worked as an actor and a producer. He is best known for choreographing some of the biggest hit dance numbers including Muqabla, Main Aisa Kyun Hoon, Urvashi Urvashi and Kay Sera Sera, among many others.

Other than that, he has also directed a couple of Hindi movies including Salman Khan's Wanted, Akshay Kumar's Rowdy Rathore, Shahid Kapoor's R... Rajkumar, Ajay Devgn's Action Jackson. He collaborated with Salman Khan in Dabangg 3 and Radhe as well. He also acted in Remo D'Souza's dance-based films Any Body Can Dance and ABCD 2.
