Bollywood Actress Prachi Desai was today named as the brand ambassador for Goa tourism.
"She is fit to be the brand ambassador of Goa which is visited by many youngsters. She is modern and still has traditional values," State tourism director Swapnil Naik said.
"Behave responsibly," said the 21-year-old actress to the youth. "When youngsters come here, they should have fun, but they should behave responsibly. We must show all that it is safe to come to Goa," she said.
"I have visited Goa several times and has never found it to be unsafe," said Prachi, who recently was seen in Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai.
Tourism minister Nilkanat Halarnkar was also present for the event held to launch Prachi as the brand ambassador.
