After playing intense roles in Dhobi Ghat and Dum Maaro Dum, Prateik is trying his luck in comedy with My Friend Pinto and says he is quite excited about his first attempt in the genre.
"It's my first attempt at comedy. I am very excited and I hope, I pull it off. I am playing Michael Pinto, a sweet and innocent boy who remains a little lost," Prateik said at an event.
The 24-year-old forayed into Bollywood with Aamir Khan's Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na and everyone loved him in it. Last seen in Prakash Jha's Aarakshan, My Friend Pinto is his first solo lead film.
"Both ways there is an advantage. If I pull it off, it's a good film, if not then I am making a fool of myself and people are going to laugh anyway. So I am very excited," Prateik said jokingly.
