New Delhi:
The who's who of Bollywood, including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, rooted for Preity Zinta as she gets set for a comeback with her home production Ishkq in Paris.
A special red carpet event was held at the French embassy in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, which was also attended by the film's lead actress and two-time Oscar nominee Isabelle Adjani.
Adjani represented both cultures at the event in an Indo-French outfit.
The Bollywood brigade including Sussane Roshan, Sameera Reddy, Sophie Choudry and Salman Khan's sister Alvira Khan with her director-husband Atul Agnihotri joined in to wish Preity luck for her second innings. (Photos: Big B at the launch of Preity Zinta's Ishkq in Paris )
Preity, who has been busy with her IPL team Kings XI Punjab for the past three years, is happy to be back.
"I was busy with cricket for the past three years and I didn't want to do any movie at that time and I think in life I can only do one thing well at a time. Now that the cricket is settled and I don't need to be there all the time, so I am happy to be back in the movies, said smiling Preity.
And since the French are known for their style, it's not surprising that Preity will don a fresh look for the film: "Idea was to give me a fresh look," said the Dil Chahta Hai girl.
