Ishkq in Paris director Prem RajSoni, who has recovered from cancer, can't stop praising hisproducer Priety Zinta, for standing by him through his roughpatch.
Soni's father passed away last year and then his ownhealth came under the weather.
Ishkq in Paris, billed as Preity Zinta's comebackfilm was earlier indefinitely postponed partly due to Soni'sillness. It will finally hit screens later this month.Soni is deeply grateful to the actress, who stood byhim through thick and thin, and postponed the release of thefilm.
He reportedly flew to UK in September-October lastyear for surgery while battling cancer of the gall bladder."We could have released the film but I was goingthrough the ordeal of my life, and she felt it wasn't theright time. Preity insisted we will not release the filmwithout me as we started this journey together. It was verybrave act. Her support means a lot to me. She is a goodfriend," he said at the event here.
Soni is relieved that the film is releasing on May 24.He feels Ishkq In Paris has turned out to be very beautiful."There are always good times after bad times, and thebad times are over. I am feeling sad that I had to go throughall this," he said.
"This film is very special for me and Priety. I wentthrough lot of things but learnt as well. She has helped me alot," he said.
Soni made his debut with Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoorstarrer Main Aur Mrs Khanna.
