Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is all praise for son Abhishek Bachchan, as the makers unveil the trailer of Dasvi. In the trailer, Abhishek can be seen playing the role of convicted Chief Minister, who wants to appear for the class 10 board exam from jail. Reposting the trailer on his Instagram handle, Big B wrote, "The Pride of a Father ...in film after film he surprises all with the incredible portrayal of totally different characters ... it's PHENOMENAL to be able to do that so successfully !!!"

Talking about Dasvi, the film is reportedly based on former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, who appeared and cleared his class 12 board exam at the age of 82 during his time in jail. Apart from Abhishek Bachchan, the film also stars Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles.
Helmed by newcomer Tushar Jalota, Dasvi is written by Ritesh Shah and produced by Dinesh Vijan in collaboration with Jio Studios and Back My Cake Films. The film will release on two OTT platforms--Netflix and JioCinema, on April 7, 2022.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan also has SSS-7 in his pipeline.
