Prithviraj Sukumaran, one of the biggest names in Malayalam cinema, has now got the Internet talking thanks to a selfie. The actor-filmmaker, on Tuesday, shared a mirror selfie to mark 2023. In the image, he is standing in the gym dressed in a pair of sweatpants and a cotton vest. In the caption, he said, “2023,” with a biceps emoji. Fans of the multi-hyphenate have filled the comment section with fire emojis and words of praise for Prithviraj. Several fans also asked the actor if he was preparing for a new project.

A few days ago, Prithviraj Sukumaran shared a post looking back at 2022. In the photo, he is with his wife and fellow producer Supriya Menon. He said, “Thank you, 2022. For the success, the happiness and the lessons! Wish you all a fantastic 2023!”

A few days ago it was announced that Prithviraj Sukumaran is set to play the antagonist in Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The movie has been described as a “follow-up to Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda's 1998 hit film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”. The new film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Speaking about the addition of Prithviraj to the star cast, the filmmaker said, “It would be an amazing experience to have such a powerhouse performer in this action entertainer.” 

"Thrilled to be part of this amazing squad… #BadeMiyanChoteMiyan. Dream combo," Prithviraj tweeted. He will play the role of a character named Kabir.

Prithviraj Sukumaran is known for his stellar roles in Ennu Ninte Moideen, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, Classmates, and Mumbai Police. His directorial debut Lucifer is one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films.
