Malayalam superstar Prithviraj apparently wants to sign megastar Amitabh Bachchan for the Bollywood remake of his own recent film Ayalum Njanum Thammil.
Prithviraj, who made his Bollywood debut opposite Rani Mukherji in Aiyyaa, is not only busy shooting for his second Hindi film Aurangzeb but is also simultaneously working on the remake of his latest South flick Ayalum Njanum Thammil.
According to a source: "Ayalum Njanum Thammil released in the south in October. The film has done very well and Prithviraj has received a lot of accolades for it. The film's instant success has prompted him to make a remake of the film."
The storyline of the film revolves around two doctors. Prithviraj apparently loved the script so much that he can't wait to begin work on the remake but only with Big B playing one of the leads.
The source added: "Prithviraj is a huge fan of Mr Bachchan and will approach him with the script in the next few months."
