Actress-turned-producer Ameesha Patel today said filmmaker Priyadarshan will direct a film under her production banner.
"I have worked with priyadarshan in bhulbhulaiya and very very happy to have him on board to direct a film for ameesha patel productions(sic)," Ameesha said onmicro-blogging site twitter.
"Ameesha patel productions proud to have priyadarshan on board(sic)," she added.
The actress also posted a picture of herself and Priyadarshan on twitter.
The 36-year-old actress starred in Priyadarshan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa (2007), a psychological thriller comedy horror film, alongside Akshay Kumar, Shiney Ahuja and Vidya Balan.
In April this year, Ameesha along with her friend Kunal Goomer launched her production house called Ameesha Patel Productions.
The actress has also roped in filmmaker David Dhawan, who will be directing the first film under her banner.
Ameesha will star in both these films.
