Los Angeles:
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra is reportedly in talks to join Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in Baywatch, which would mark her Hollywood film debut, said The Hollywood Reporter.
The 33-year-old actress is already creating waves internationally with her maiden American TV series Quantico. She recently won her first international honour, People Choice Award for the Best Actress in a New TV series. (Blog: As the People's Choice, Has Priyanka Chopra's Gamble Paid Off?)
Baywatch is Paramount's big-screen take on the 1990s television series about California lifeguards.
Seth Gordon is directing the feature, which is paddling toward a shoot with Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach also suiting up.
The movie's plot revolves around the Dwayne Johnson's attempt to save his bay with some help from hotshot former Olympian, played by Zac Efron.
Scheduling conflicts with the film's shoot and Quantico still need to be worked out, but if signed, the actress would play the story's villain.
