The celebrities take turns to sing a line from the John Lennon classic. Priyanka sings two lines in the song. The first, "imagine there's no countries," as a duet with model Suki Waterhouse, and the second, "a brotherhood of man," as a solo.
The video, made for a global campaign by UNICEF to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, features singers Katy Perry and Nicole Scherzinger, actors Idris Elba and Courteney Cox, Courteney's ex-husband David Arquette, singer will.i.am, former N'Sync member Lance Bass, actors Justin Bartha and Seth Green, Glee star Dianna Agron, music producer David Guetta, and actresses Patricia Arquette, Nina Dobrev and Rumer Willis, among others.
In a very special appearance, UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon joins in the chorus.
The music video is also interactive. Listeners can sing along as well - yes, you can too - and even insert themselves into the video using an iPhone and iPad app called Touchcast.
John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono gave UNICEF permission to use the song and all funds raised by the project will be channeled to programmes providing education, healthcare, protection, vaccines, drinking water and emergency assistance to children in more than 150 countries and territories.
