Actress Priyanka Chopra, who is playing the female lead in the Zanjeer remake, will join the cast and crew of the film this month in Hyderabad.
"We have planned for a 25-day schedule in Hyderabad. We will be going to Hyderabad on November 14th and will be back on December 5. So now Priyanka Chopra will be joining us in Hyderabad and this is her first schedule for Zanjeer," Apoorva Lakhia, who is directing the film, told IANS.
"We are extremely lucky to have her. It will be fun to work with her," he added.
Sanjay Dutt will also join them in Hyderabad.
"As far as Sanjay Dutt is concerned, he will just have a-half-day shoot in Hyderabad. His major portions will be shot in Mumbai in January," said Mr Lakhia.
Amit Mehra is producing the film, which was originally made by his late father Prakash Mehra in 1973 with Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
For the remake, southern star Ram Charan Teja steps into Big B's shoes.
