Actress Priyanka Chopra's American television show Quantico has been renewed for the third season. The 34-year-old actress announced on Twitter: "So excited about the season 3 pick up for #Quantico congrats to everyone who made it happen! #AlexParrish will be back soon (sic)." The show's renewal has surprised many because of the show's dwindling ratings and viewership. Quantico's rating has gone down by 45 per cent from season 1 to season 2 and its viewership dropped by 36 per cent, according to a report in Variety magazine. Quantico creator and executive producer Josh Safran will not return for the third season but will join the team as a consultant. ABC Studios are now looking for a new showrunner, reports Variety.
