Noted filmmaker Sudhakar Bokade dieddue to a heart attack at a city hospital, family sources saidtoday. He was 57.
Mr Bokade was admitted to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai AmbaniHospital in Andheri two days ago due to breathing problems. Hepassed away last night after a heart attack, his son Krishnatold PTI.
Both Krishna and his father had gone to Malaysia for somework and while returning, Bokade complained of difficulty inbreathing following which he was hospitalised.
Mr Bokade produced films like Salman Khan-MadhuriDixit-Sanjay Dutt-starrer Saajan, Nana Patekar's Prahaar,Saif Ali Khan's Sanam Teri Kasam and Ajay Devgn's Dhanwaanamong others.
He is survived by daughters Divya and Kiran and sonKrishna.
Mr Bokade's last rites were performed this afternoon atOshiwara crematorium with family and close friends.
