Nashik:
Activists of Mahatma Phule Samta Parishad held peaceful demonstrations on Tuesday, seeking preview of Prakash Jha's Aarakshan, which releases on Friday.
Around 25 activists of the outfit protested at the Cinemax theatre, shouting slogans as they demanded a special screening for their leader and Maharashtra PWD minister Chhagan Bhujbal, the police said.
Aarakshan releasing on Friday is a socio-political drama based on the caste-based reservations in the government jobs and educational institutions.
Incidentally, the Bombay High Court today refused to stay release of the film saying there will be no special screening for anybody before its release.
