Celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Anil Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty called Salman's performance in the film 'outstanding' and praised it for exploring the subject of Indo-Pak relations.
Directed by Kabir Khan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan narrates the story of a Hindu man on a mission to take a young Pakistani 'girl without a voice' back to her country. The film chronicles his adventures and experiences faced during his road trip. The film, which also co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Salman's own colleagues such Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan had also played a part in publicising the film on Twitter. His other friends from Bollywood have now joined the league and called it a 'must watch.'
