Anjali says police officials had come to the pub, but she isn't sure why.
It was not long ago, the actress was embroiled in a controversy with her step-mother. In connection with it, she had apparently run away from her home.
Anjali is currently busy shooting for Tamil film Mappillai Singam and a yet-untitled Kannada project.
Actress Anjali says news about her being in a pub brawl here has been fabricated by a section of media because she refused to pose for photographs.
The incident reportedly took place at Liquids pub on Friday.
"On Friday, I had gone to Tabla restaurant with couple of my friends and their husbands. A few photographers approached me and requested to pose for photographs, but I politely refused as I was not there for professional work," Anjali told IANS.
