Pop star Nicole Scherzingerthinks her fight with her Pussycat Dolls bandmates was"inevitable".
The original members of the group - Ashley Roberts,Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton - have nowgone their separate ways amid rumours of tension between thewomen, but the Poison hitmaker insists they always handledtheir rows well, reported Contactmusic.
"It's inevitable that any girl group who are breathingthe same airspace 24/7 are going to bicker. But I think wehandled it well and were respectful towards each other," saidScherzinger.
The 32-year-old singer, who was the last member todepart the group, admitted she has no idea why so many of thegirls left the band but says she respects their choices and isglad they took the opportunity to "find" themselves.
"Girl power is about finding yourself as a woman.Obviously a lot of them then wanted to branch off and do theirown thing and that's wonderful."
Although the Pussycat Dolls originally started off asa lap dancing group in Los Angeles, Scherzinger thinks hertalent and that of her bandmates helped fans to forget theirroots.
"The group had existed before as a dance group. Thenthey hired myself and Melody to come and record. I was reallyproud of my part in making the music. We wouldn't have beenable to sell tens of millions of albums if we didn't havetalent. We stood for fun girl power," she said.
