The Mummy star Rachel Weisz is the latest star to land a cameo in the cult TV series The Simpsons.
The Academy Award winning actress plays a quirky and slightly deranged family therapist in the animated series, reported People magazine online.
In the episode Weisz plays a therapist who specializes in children and pets and is hired by the Simpson family to treat Bart and his dog, Santa's Little Helper.
The pair had a falling out after the dog ate Bart's new pet pigeon.
The 40-year-old who rose to fame alongside Brandon Fraizer in 'The Mummy' and 'The Mummy Returns', recently split from her director partner of nine years Darren Aronofsky.
Weisz and Aronofsky, who directed 'The Wrestler', announced their split last month after nine years together.
The couple released a statement saying they had actually been split for some months and will share custody of their 4-year-old son Henry.
Rumours have circulated that Weisz has been dating her 'Dream House' co-star and James Bond actor Daniel Craig but both parties have refused to comment on the allegations.
