London : Oscar winning actress Rachel Weisz is reportedly in talks to star opposite her current flame, actor Daniel Craig, in the next 'Bond' film.
The Mummy star has been approached to play the role of a villain in the 23rd Bond movie, but sources close to the actress say that she may turn the offer down, reported Contactmusic.
"Casting Rachel was going to be a surprise twist as everyone would assume she'd be a Bond girl when really she would play a villain. But the fly in the ointment is that they are now dating," said the source.
The latest movie in the Bond franchise, reported to be called 'Red Sky At Night', will see 42-year-old Craig reprise his role as the suave British spy and is tipped to be the biggest of all Bond films. The producers are also planning a death defying winter sports chase.
Sam Mendes will direct the film and Judi Dench is returning as 'M' with 'Frost/Nixon' actor Michael Sheen set to play the villain.
Neal Purvis and Robert Wade along with John Logan whohave hits like Gladiator, The Aviator and The LastSamurai will write the script.
The movie will go on floor later this year and the release will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the first Bond film, Dr No in 2012.
