Radhika is extensively researching for her film Phobia
Mumbai:
Bollywood actress Radhika Apte, who has started shooting for her next film Phobia, is doing extensive research for her character.
Besides reading extensively about the subject, Radhika has been meeting doctors and patients to gather as much information as possible. She says she is in close contact with psychiatrists and neurosurgeons to understand the mental and biological aspect of a phobia. She has also been meeting patients and has observed them in order to understand their behavioural patterns.
Radhika said, "I'm in touch with doctors and they have shared valuable information with me about the subject. It has helped me get a deeper understanding of panic attacks.
Apart from reading up about it, the first-hand information has been very vital to the preparation of my character."
After filming Phobia, Radhika will start shooting for Kabali in which she stars opposite Rajinikanth.
