Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni mourned the death of Hindi film superstar Rajesh Khanna and said "his films had no language barriers and was liked by people all across". (Rajesh Khanna: 10 facts only a fan would know)
"Rajesh Khanna was a living legend and was our superhero. He has left behind the rich legacy for younger generations," Ambika Soni told a news channel.

Rajesh Khanna passed away today (July 18, 2012) after a prolonged illness. He was 69.
