Rumours about Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's health sent his fans into a tizzy today but the actor's representative assured that he was fine. Rajinikanth is currently holidaying with his family in the US.
"He is taking rest in the US. He is happy and is vacationing with his family. There is no need to believe rumours," Rajinikanth's publicist said.
Fans who were concerned about the actor's health also tweeted enquiring about him. The 65 year-old actor, who was recently honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, has finished shooting for Kabali.
Filmmaker Shankar Shanmugham also tweeted that he has completed filming two major action sequences as well as the climax of 2.0 which also stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar.
Rajinikanth is expected to join the sets of the project from the first week of July.
