That Rajkummar Rao is smitten by his wife Patralekhaa is no secret. The newlyweds had the Internet hanging on to each of their wedding posts with bated breath and we totally understand why. The couple has a fairy tale love story and the pictures and videos from their wedding offered us a glimpse into this. Now, adding to the collection of special wedding snippets is a new video shared by Rajkummar Rao. In it, the actor is seen singing the famous Indie song Maeri for his wife, Patralekhaa. Joining him in singing the hit number by Euphoria were Rajkummar Rao's friends -- actor Abhishek Banerjee, Vinod Rawat, and Anish John.
Sharing the video, Rajkummar Rao wrote, “Hamari shaadi ki yeh suhaani shaam (This beautiful evening of our wedding). Sing for the people you love. Kehte hai gaana aaye ya na aaye gaana chahiye specially jab woh ek impromptu singing session ban jaaye. (It is said that one must sing irrespective of whether one is blessed with talent or not especially when it turns into an impromptu singing session.) Thank you, Tushar Joshi, you super talented boy, for letting us sing one of our favourite Hindi songs. With the most wonderful Anish John, Vinod Rawat, and Abhishek Banerjee."
In the video, Rajkummar Rao can be seen singing and grooving with his friends on stage with a microphone in hand. Patralekhaa too is seen dancing along to the song with guests at the ceremony.
Reacting to the post, actor Ayushmann Khurrana -- who is a celebrated singer himself -- said, “Khoobsoorat (beautiful).” Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi replied with a heart emoji.
A few days ago, Patralekhaa also shared a picture from their wedding preparation. The candid black-and-white image features the two immersed in conversation. In the caption, the actress said, “Stealing some moments making some memories between Lucknow and Chandigarh.”
Before that, on the occasion of their one-month wedding anniversary, Rajkummar Rao shared a photo of the two from what appears to be a pool party and the wedding itself. In the caption, Rajkummar Rao penned a love note, “Mera yaar tum, mera pyaar tum, mera dil bhi tum, dildaar tum. (You're my friend, you're my love, you're my heart, you're my beloved). It's already been a month.”
