New Delhi:

Makers of Akshay Kumar's Ram Setu released the film's trailer today. The over two-minute-long video shows Akshay Kumar going on a deadly mission to "protect India's history," according to the trailer. The video begins with Nassar's dialogue, who can be seen playing the role of powerful businessman in the film. As he walks out of his car in a rainy day, his dialogue, "Yeh desh Ram ke bharose chalta hai, iss bharose ko chunauti kaise doge" (This country runs on the belief in lord Ram, how will you challenge this belief), plays in the background. A frame later, enters Akshay Kumar, who plays an archeologist in the film. Akshay's mission in the film is to bring proof that Ram Setu (the bridge built by lord Ram in the epic Ramayan), which he calls a historic treasure, is real. But, things change, when Akshay realizes that it was all a trap. The trailer also features Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharrucha and Satyadev Kancharana. The trailer shows a lot of action and cat-and-mouse chase till the end.

The film is all set to hit the big screen on October 25.
