Finally, after weeks of speculation, the reports about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding have turned out to be true. And the first pre-wedding ceremony, Mehendi, is already underway. Recently, their upcoming film Brahmastra's first song, Kesariya, was unveiled by Ayan Mukerji. Choreographed by Remo D'Souza, he recently opened up on Alia and Ranbir's chemistry. Speaking to ETimes, he said that the couple has the best chemistry both on and off-screen. He added that they make the "best-looking pair".
"Ranbir and Alia have the best chemistry, both on and off screen. And now that they are getting married, I can officially say that they make the best-looking pair. You can make that out on screen when they look at each other and in real life when they hold one another together. It was beautiful to shoot with them. They are extremely professional artistes and that is a quality that they both don't compromise, ever. I'm yet to see a better set of actors than them. They get their timing right, always. The way they were on the sets was amazing, too. They would hang with the whole team together. They wouldn't tear themselves away from the gang. And when they were at work, they were only working. They know how to keep work away from what they share in real life," ETimes quoted Remo D'Souza saying.
Talking about the song, Remo D'Souza told ETimes that Kesariya is a travelling number between Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The song is a string of moments, that are story-based, taking their equation forward in the film.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will marry tomorrow (April 14) at Ranbir's Vastu house. Today, the Kapoor and Bhatt family are enjoying the Mehendi function- Neetu Kapoor with daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and granddaughter Samara were spotted arriving at Ranbir's Vastu house.
On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be soon seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. It will be their first film as an onscreen couple. The first part of the trilogy will release on September 9, 2022.
