Ranbir Kapoor refused to budge from the pre-determined fee for the project

One of our sources has been following director Abhinav Kashyap's attempts to make his next film after Dabangg with Ranbir Kapoor. There has been a buzz that he is doing/not doing the project.
According to the source, after Ranbir refused to budge from the pre-determined fee for the project, Abhinav turned to his dad Rishi Kapoor to put in a word over the price issue.
Now everyone knows that Mr Kapoor does not meddle in his son's career and is known for his sarcastic sense of humour. He apparently told the director to get packing before he unleashed his sarcasm.
Last heard Abhinav Kashyap is still reeling over Ranbir's no budge stand as well as his dad's spiel.
