Neither Ranbir Kapoor nor Deepika Padukone had much fun in their last films - Ranbir trapped in a spiral of crime and tragedy in Bombay Velvet, Deepika saddled with a grumpy, cranky old father in Piku. Luckily, they're having a whole lot of fun in their next movie together, director Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha.(Also Read: No, Ranbir Doesn't Know Much About Social Media. But Deepika Does)
This new still from the film indicates that they might actually be having too much fun in Tamasha, much of which has been shot on the French island of Corsica:
Then again, is there such a thing as too much fun in a Bollywood film? Nah.
Corsica, a hitherto unexplored destination for Bollywood's filmmakers, is the setting for one of the adventures of comic book hero Asterix, of who Deepika's character in the film is a fan. (Also Read - Hope Tamasha Will Work After Three Rejections: Ranbir Kapoor)
Tamasha, releasing on November 27, reunites a set of collaborators on previous hit films - Imtiaz Ali directed Ranbir in Rockstar and Deepika in Love Aaj Kal, Ranbir and Deepika were last seen in 2013 blockbuster Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. This is the first time, however, that all three are working together.
