New Delhi:
Actor Ranbir Kapoor said that his former flame Deepika Padukone scares him as an actor.
"Deepika's growth has been immense as an actor. It feels great whenever I work with her. Moreover, I feel creatively satisfied working with her. I look up to her as an actor. She also scares me as an actor," said Ranbir.
Ranbir and Deepika have worked together in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. They will soon be seen in Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha.
"When I worked with her in Bachna Ae Haseeno, she was a very different entity. She was shy, demure and a little introvert. Then I worked with her in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. There was a sudden leap and understanding of cinema and life," added Ranbir.
Ranbir also said that Deepika is a jovial and fun-loving person.
"You can speak to her, you can dance with her, have fun with her, do cheap Ganpati dance and she reciprocates very well," said Ranbir.
Deepika and Ranbir said that they share a unique bond.
"It's been an amazing journey. It's nice to see the person he has become, his journey and the films which he has done. He is so talented. Working with him makes you a better person and an actor. He is so good at his work that he makes you look good on screen," said Deepika.
Tamasha, which opens on November 27, is a reunion of sorts for both the director and his lead actors. Imtiaz directed Ranbir in Rockstar and Deepika in Love Aaj Kal.(Also Read: Meet Deepika Padukone's 'Hotties' Ranveer and Ranbir)
