Actor Ranbir Kapoor has put his weight behind a charity auction to support the ongoing relief work carried out in flood-ravaged Uttarakhand.
The charity auction on eBay by NGO 'Save the Children' will offer the highest bidder a chance to spend a day on the sets with the Barfi! star.
"I feel honoured to be able to contribute towards supporting the lives of those that have been affected by the floods throughthe charity auction on eBay India by Save the Children. I encourage people to participate in this noble cause and help those in need. I will definitely make the day special for the winning bidder," said Ranbir.
Ranbir, 30, is currently shooting for Abhinav Kashyap's Besharam.
'Save the Children' will use the proceeds from the auction to reduce the impact of the disaster on 5000 severely vulnerable households in five districts of Uttarakhand.
