Ranbir will play a conman in Besharam

After stealing a million hearts in the superhit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a character he's never portrayed before - that of a rustic conman with hints of a Besharam roadside romeo who dons very flashy outfits.
The trailer of Besharam opens with the Kapoor lad humming the classic DDLJ tune in the mustard fields. Comic relief comes in the form of Ranbir's parents Rishi and Neetu Kapoor, who play cops in the movie.
From the trailer of this upcoming comedy film, we deduce tht Ranbir Kapoor plays a thief either from Haryana or Punjab.
Besharam is directed by Abhinav Kashyap who broke box office records with Dabangg starring Salman Khan.
Abhinav, who is director Anurag Kashyap's younger brother, launched the first look of Besharam to the media in Mumbai on Tuesday. Ranbir Kapoor, who is currently busy preparing for Anurag's Bombay Velvet, was not present.
He conquered India with Rockstar, Barfi! and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, but what remains to be seen is whether Ranbir will be able to enthrall the entire nation with Besharam.
