Taking time out from shooting forhis two under production movies Rockstar and Barfee, Ranbir Kapoor is doing his first everpromotional video for Vikas Bahl's Chillar Party.
This is for the first time ever, there is going to be anitem song or promotional video for a kids flick.
Chillar Partys music has been composed by Amit Trivediand this particular song is a mix of street instruments, localvoices and dialect.
Choreographed by Bosco Ceasar who has also mixed streetdancing with contemporary style, the song is sung by Amit andhis mother.
"Ranbir saw the film and loved it. Thats when werequested him if he would do an item song for the kids and heloved the idea, and readily agreed," said director Bahl.
Ranbir plays himself in the video in a "tapori" stylewhich is inspired by one of the characters in the film. Theyoung actor has been bonding with the kids to make themcomfortable and getting inspired by some of their moves, hesaid.
