It was a sight to behold when Ranbir Kapoor touched his ex-flame Deepika Padukone's feet on stage at the Screen Awards.
Whether intentional or a spur of the moment doing, it took the actress by surprise.
At the Screen awards held over the weekend, Deepika along with filmmaker Subhash Ghai handed over the Best Actor trophy to Ranbir.
The choice to have Deepika give away the award to Ranbir was obviously to attract eyeballs. and raise eyebrows as well. But what followed certainly took the audience by surprise.
When Ranbir arrived on the stage, he first bent down and touched Subhash Ghai's feet. And then took he again stooped to touch Deepika's feet.
She took it sportingly and laughed heartily before handing over the trophy to Ranbir.
Ranbir and Deepika are slated to feature together in Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, perhaps Ranbir was just preparing to face the camera with her again on a happy note.
