New Delhi:
Baba Ramdev failure to score a goal at the Bollywood vs politicians charity football match on Saturday pales into insignificance beside these pictures of his saffron-clad self kicking-off the game.
Be amazed.
Certainly actor Rishi Kapoor, whose son Ranbir played on the Bollywood side, was left impressed by the Baba's skills.
Mr Kapoor, 63, has made a public appeal for Ranbir's Indian Super League team to instantly draft the Baba in.
You might want to consider, Ranbir. Baba Ramdev turned out to be the star attraction at Saturday's match, held in New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Team Bollywood was captained by Abhishek Bachchan and included actors Dini Morea and Shabbir Ahluwalia. Babul Supriyo, Minister of State for Heavy Industries, led a side of Members of Parliament.
"I support both the politicians and the actors. Baba doesn't take sides," said Baba Ramdev as he kicked-off.
It was not, however, a close match - Bollywood lifted the cup 10-0.
The match proceeds will go to the Beti Bachao and Swachch Abhiyan projects.
