Mumbai:
The famous track Bheege hoth tere went on to become one of the most popular tracks of the year when Murder released. And reports are that the next installment of the thriller franchise will have Randeep Hooda singing the lines once again.
The film co-starring Sophia Loren and Aditi Rao Hydari has Randeep replacing Emraan as the lead.
A source said: "It was decided that the third part will reprise the popular track from the first film. The makers wanted a connection with the original film and so decided to keep the song once again."
Instead of having the original crooner Kunal Ganjawala singing the track, it was decided that Randeep would mouth the lines. "Randeep insisted he would do it," added the source.
Producer Mahesh Bhatt confirmed: "Randeep will be singing the song for us. He has a husky voice with an eerie touch. That's exactly what we wanted."
