New Delhi: Actor Randeep Hooda, who collapsed on the sets of Sultan on Sunday evening following a severe attack of appendicitis, was scheduled to undergo surgery at Fortis Hospital here on Monday.
"Randeep had been in acute pain for some time, but he is known for his professionalism so he ignored it to complete the shoot on time. Today (Monday) he will undergo surgery," said a source close to the actor.
According to the source, he is expected to be discharged on Tuesday.
Randeep plays Salman Khan's wrestling coach in the Ali Abbas Zafar-directed Sultan.
