The film not only marks the Bollywood debut of Prithviraj but will also be the maiden Bollywood venture of National Award winning Marathi film director Sachin Kundalkar.
The 33-year-old Rani was last seen as a journalist in
No One Killed Jessica, which was based on the 1999 Jessica Lall murder in Delhi. Apart from
Aiyaa, Rani is also shooting for Reema Kagti's untitled film with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
