Actor Ranveer Singh said that he is nervous about the audiences' reaction to his film Bajirao Mastani.
Bajirao Mastani casts Ranveer as the Maratha leader Peshwa Bajirao, Deepika Padukone as his warrior queen Mastani and Priyanka Chopra as his first wife Kashibai. The film is a saga about the romance between the Peshwa general and his second wife Mastani.
"I am quite nervous about how people will react after watching Bajirao Mastani. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been working on this film for 12-15 years. A lot of hard work, blood and sweat has gone into it. We have collectively worked on this film. "We are trying to give people something memorable. Something that people will cherish. We are nervous about how people will react to the film," added Ranveer.
When Ranveer was asked about singer Ghulam Ali's concert being cancelled in India, he said: "For quite some time I have been staying under a rock. I am far removed from everything else that is happening. I have only been focussing on Bajirao Mastani as it is a once in a life time opportunity and I had to do justice to it."
"Everything in my life has taken a backseat. I am not even in touch with my friends. Neither have I got enough time to spend with my family but all of them are very understanding. I haven't been aware of the current affairs unfortunately. Now I will get some time between Bajirao Mastani and Befikre, so I will catch up," added Ranveer.
Bajirao Mastani is scheduled to release on December 18.
