After his blockbuster hit
Golmaal Again, which has crossed the 200 crore mark, filmmaker Rohit Shetty is all set to remake Junior NTR's hit film
Temper. The filmmaker also revealed that actor Ranveer Singh will feature in the lead role in his upcoming action drama. Of casting Ranveer in the film, Rohit Shetty told
mid-day: "The script is best suited for Ranveer. It is an out-and-out action
masala entertainer, a kind that he hasn't attempted before. We will include amazing action sequences, and given the kind of energy and enthusiasm that Ranveer has, I'm sure he'll do justice to the part."
Rohit Shetty has denied all reports which stated Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor will share screen space with Ranveer in Rohit's upcoming film. Of this, Rohit said, "I don't know where this news came from. I have not yet finalised the leading lady. The cast will be decided only when the final draft is ready early next year," reports

Rohit Shetty's yet-untitled film will mark his first collaboration with Ranveer Singh. The original film titled
Temper was directed by Puri Jagannadh and starredJunior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. "Around 20 per cent of the original story will be retained, the rest will be amended to suit our audience. We will start rolling next year,"

Rohit Shetty is best known for his
maar dhaad films like the
Singham series and comedy dramas such as
Bol Bachchan,
Chennai Express and the
Golmaal series while Ranveer Singh, who was last seen in
Befikre, is awaiting the release of
Padmavati, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. He also has Kapil Dev's biopic titled
'83 in the pipeline.
