On the 315th birth anniversary of Peshwa Bajirao I, actor Ranveer Singh, who essays the role of the Maratha warrior in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama Bajirao Mastani, said that it's an "honour" for him to play the character.
He posted on Twitter:
The actor also shared, what looks like another poster of the movie which features him as the Maratha Peshwa on horseback, against a dramatic background.

The historical love story features Ranveer as the 18th century Maratha warrior Peshwa Bajirao I, while his love interest, Mastani, is essayed by Deepika. National Award-winning actress Priyanka portrays Kashibai, the first wife of Bajirao.
Bajirao Mastani is slated to hit the theatres on December 18.
